Flatten the Curve: Survey Results

To better understand community well-being and behavior change during the COVID-19 pandemic, Sharecare launched a national survey called “Flatten the Curve,” developed in partnership Dr. Sandro Galea, dean of the Boston University School of Public Health.

With responses from more than 115K+ Americans in April alone, the survey – promoted in partnership with Publicis Health Media – found that we have experienced a number of changes in personal behavior that may impact our immediate and long-term well-being.

Regarding the economy:
- 65% worried about retirement funds
- 22% “very worried” about an extended recession
- 33% experiencing one or more financial stressors, including change in pay, likelihood of retaining employment and ability to pay bills
